No Place Like Home..

The weave, the opportunities, smelling the roses and stopping to rest, listen and be.

Two days ago my husband was home from work by 2:00. He is a concrete mixer driver. The last two summers we were lucky if he was home by 8:00. We went for a drive to a local park. Went for a wonderful walk. On the way home we did a little detour to "check out how an area had changed". Just off the main path. And there a pile of FREE stuff. If you know me...i love free. Bill comments "look there is one of those metal boxes you like. Oh well, no biggy. What? you covet those and here's one free!! I know but to much stuff. But that entertainment center would work great for what we are doing in Jacobs room! "

This lead to a King size bed frame. The lady told him to sell it if I didn't like it. We had just picked up a Free King size bed frame a few weeks earlier that is beautiful. Here's where Kathy comes in. She responded to the add and came over to pay for the headboard. I welcomed her in, which is odd for me. The house is a mess. It looks like we live here. My studio is the family room and the bomb that went off left quite a mess. I put my sewing machine in the living room. Last night I made quite the mess. Kathy commented a few times on how wonderful and creative our home is!! SUE DO YOU HEAR THAT? She didn't say the place is a mess. You have to much stuff or anything like that. She wanted to see the back yard, stopped at the dining table where I have vintage jewelry spread out. She LIKED your place and commented again. BE YOU.

Kathy also cleans homes. I actually gave her a tour. OH MY GOODNESS, i would have never done that years ago. My girls will tell you that if it wasn't magazine quality....no way. I would love to hire her a couple times a month. A clean home does make me feel better. It's a great way to get the place picked up to. They can't clean unless it is straightened up, right!? She was a very nice lady and I'd like to get to know her more.

As far as sweet hubby and work. Can you believe he was on call on Wednesday? On call means the day off. Luckily he went in today. We will make it through this. I believe God has a plan. It will be something we can't even see right now. Bill seems to think if I would list one item a day or every two days on ETSY that would help. I don't know if I can do something that quick. I'm so slow when it comes to creating. That also makes it hard to create for arts sake! We'll see what happens. As far as the metal box in the free pile, they actually had three of them and yes......i have all three....  much love and grace,

it's hurts to move

but i must.

when nothing seem to work

Is going away so that you can be heard running?

When your voice is so small

no one hears it.

When your idea's, thoughts, beliefs

are different then "theirs"

does that make you wrong?

When you didn't set boundaries

you let things happen that you thought were good

and now see are tearing you down

is it wrong to leave

stay away

be with people who like you

the real you.

When you are constantly told

that person would do anything for you

do you mention that is only if it is their idea

or something they agree with.

That you didn't ask them to do anything

and because they did doesn't give them the right

to have the only voice.

How do you tell them that you are a good person?

a good parent,  good.

I don't want to try anymore.

I'm so much better away from it all.

Was the doctor right in asking about your extended family?

It's my birthday month......

I will celebrate my 45th birthday this month. Wow...where does the time go?
